My world has been opened...

Who knew I could keep in touch with everyone through blogging...obviously everyone but me. :) Why didn't anyone tell me you guys had such wonderful blogs to enjoy?? I also had a friend introduce me to Facebook this week. I am in heaven...hearing about so many of my friends and family's lives. It makes me so happy and sad to get a glimpse into what you've been up to....I am so far away from you all.

I'm sitting in Jessie's new room enjoying the Twilight soundtrack we got her for Christmas. She has been bitten by the Twilight bug and is on the 3rd book. I have yet to read any of them or see the movie, but I'm sure I'll have to be content with the movie because I am hopeless when it comes to getting through a book. I love getting caught up in them but I just don't seem to have much time for them right now.

This past year Rylee decided to move out of the room she and Jessie have shared since we moved here and took her pillow and blanket and moved into the laundry room. I didn't think it would last, especially since she was using the lazy boy chair as her bed, but when she started moving her things little by little into the small nook of a room, we decided it was time to take her seriously. So this year Santa brought the girls new bedroom furniture or as Randy calls it "big gurl furniture" (pronounced with a speech impediment like a little kid). I found a new favorite place....IKEA! Hooray. I love how they can furnish a whole house and make it look like somewhere you want to hang out even though it's hardly big enough to move around in. It came in handy furnishing Rylee's small room.

This is the room and bunkbed Jessie and Rylee used to share - before they got their new furniture.
My roomless child making her "chairbed". ha ha ha(: I have to give it to her...she is creative and persistent. (No calls to family services please.)

  1. I love the lazy chair bed. Poor child, she must come live with AAJ! She would have to share a room with Tornado Tim, but think of the fun. He wakes up in the night thinking his Wall-e sheets are punching him in the nose. Poor thing maybe he would be happier in the laundry room with a "lazy bed";) Keep blogging it helps us feel closer to you! Love ya

  2. Cassie, Guy and Ian have both read all the Twilight books. If Guy can get into them he said you surely can. Hurry up and get addicted:) He stayed up way too late everynight till he finished. Ian is the only one to watch the movie, he liked it. I don't want to see it because I loved the books so much I don't want the image in my mind ruined. love ya AAJ
